Is there any particular detail about him that you remember? Anything that caught your attention?

If I had, I'd have mentioned it by now, wouldn't I? I'm sorry I can't help you, honestly, but I'm the wrong guy to be asking all this.

Don't worry about it, I'm not expecting you in particular to tell me all about him or about everything I want to know. I'm just going down the list of people who have been here a while, checking all the sources.

I also wanted to... apologize, for what a fellow so-called reporter has put you through.

It was too good to last, anyway. With all the good press imPorts were getting when I first got here, I got complacent. I don't blame people for wondering, I just wish they wouldn't jump right away to the worst possible conclusion.

People have a tendency to do that. If you give them two options they will go for the worst one. We have superheroes with secret identities back home, I just had never seen it get so out of hand.

You're not serious? That's a nice gig your heroes have got.

There's theories, of course. And I'm sure people would pay a lot of money for the exclusive, it's not like we're immune to the curiosity bug... but no hero has been thrown under the bus like that.

The mind, it boggles. I wonder if Lachesis would let me switch universes after all this is over. I'm getting a little tired of being blamed for everything from global warming to the Kardashians.

I'm probably biased. I'm from Metropolis the city of tomorrow loves his heroes most of the time. Maybe you should try asking someone from Gotham, see if they change your opinion.

Now that still weirds me out. Where I'm from, New York and Gotham are the same place.

Where I'm from it's a city in its own right. But if we're from different worlds it makes sense some names will be changed.

But New York exists there too, right? That's what I find strange about it. Funny how it's the little things that really throw you off -- if you can call an entire new city where none should fit little, I mean.

There's entire countries, as well. No one has heard of Atlantis outside of legends, and there's some places I've heard... Latervia, for example. We don't have that one in my world.

Does that mean no Doctor Doom? Lucky you.

[Says Superman, but hey, at least his main villain isn't called Surgeon Pain or something.]

Believe it or not? His real name. At least Victor Von Doom is -- I'm not sure about the doctorate.

Wait, really? Victor Von Doom? And the fact that his name is Victor makes the whole thing even worse somehow, I'm not even surprised he's a supervillain.
